Holding more than 3800 hours of short-term and medium-term specialized training courses

​​​​​Institute of Petroleum Engine​​​​​​​ering, as a link between university and industry, in order to improve the knowledge of craftsmen and students, with the help of the scientific abilities of faculty members of the University of Tehran, experienced specialists of reputable domestic companies and global experiences, and benefiting from the expertise of Iranians abroad and having a suitable and advanced educational environment, has started holding short-term specialized training courses according to the needs of oil companies and students.

​​​​​Institute of Petroleum Engineering has the ability to organize oil and gas seminars, working groups, conferences and symposiums. Also, this institute cooperates with international institutions to prepare the next generation of professionals to make informed decisions or follow the country's industry paths, to improve the academic level of domestic experts and students, and critical and vital thinking skills with training courses.

The titles of some of the courses held are as follows:

- Excellent courses on oil and gas law and contracts

- Methods of extracting oil from oil shales

- Excellent oil and gas management courses

- Inspection operation inside the well

In line with the expansion of international cooperation and knowledge transfer in the field of oil, gas and refining, the Institute of Petroleum Engineering of the University of Tehran held an intensive training course "New developments in the upstream and downstream industries of oil and gas" for 190 hours in two general sections of oil and gas and specialized downstream and upstream of oil and gas in February and March 2019 at the site of the Institute of Petroleum Engineering.

This course was held with the cooperation of faculty members of technical faculties and experts in this field in the field of oil and gas and refining.

The audience of this course was 60 graduates and oil and gas experts from Syria.
