History

Institute of petroleum engineering (IPE) was established in 2000 to comply with the demands of petroleum industry by presenting research and academic services in upstream technology by benefiting from the scientific and technical potentials of University of Tehran and National Iranian Oil Company (NIOC).
This institute began its activity with Board of Trustees support in line with internal University of Tehran policies.
